I agree with all of them...I don't think there is much to not agree with. they are using sound science.
I try go by those rules as well, except I do still use canned tomatoes. I really just didn't like the Pomi at all. 
so I agree with it but in that case I cannot follow through.

These make perfect sense to me.
FYI, Eden Organic and Muir Glen sell canned tomatoes in BPA-free cans.
And you can still have microwave popcorn - just put the kernels in a paper bag instead.

I understand why they probably aren't great for you. But that wouldn't stop me from eating them. Drinking and smoking isn't healthy either, but lots of people still do it. ::Shrug:: To each their own. If you follow that list, more power to ya!

Totally agree with the list but the alternative is expensive which most people aren't willing to spend. I don't eat/ drink six of the seven. Grass fed beef is soooooooo soooooo expensive, so we basically eat beef occasionally, we do try to get organic though.

I as well, but honestly had no idea about canned tomatoes, that was new to me, what about canned anything then???

I completely agree...so basically they're telling me to shop organically at Whole Foods  If I really had the $ to do so, I would!

you know, there are tons of farms across LI that sell direct to consumer. there is a booklet that I have at home, I will try to post the addresses of those that I can find tomorrow.
we try to shop at local farms as much as possible. people think I do this ish to be snotty and HTT. I don't. I do it b/c it's the best way to get the best possible things into my family, keeping the bad away as much as possible and doing it within a budget.
I have posted before about the cattle farm we bought beef from. it makes having beef reasonable. I am about to buy another batch in the middle of January. it's in OC, but I would be glad to again share the information.
I will not buy farm raised fish. I wait for it to go on sale and freeze it. wild caught white firsth costs less generally than shrimp or salmon.
after reading about that man's cancer, I will never ever ever have micro popcorn in my home again. I know his case was very extreme, but when I can pop some good ol' jiffy pop on the stove, there is no need.
thank you for the tip on Muir Glen. it IS expensive but I guess it's worth it. especially since my son LOVES sauce.
we used to have a pretty large "weekend" goiing out to eat budget. that has been eaten up ( ) by they cost of buying organically/sustainably/wildly.
but given what I know, it's what it has to be.

I will and do use the canned tomatoes as well. But we are very lucky that my MIL has a nice little garden going on so when she gets a good batch of tomatoes, we will usually jar up and/or freeze a lot of the tomatoes to use throughout the year.

The organic milk and apples - all dairy and fruit, for that matter - I totally agree with. The things that they put in dairy, especially, is so bad for your health and at the rate I consume milk it's very dangerous for me. I go out of my way to buy the organic milk more than anything else.
