I've used this recipe many times and it's always a hit! I might make it again Christmas morning! It's very rich, but really good.

Creme Brulee French Toast Ingredients: 1 stick unsalted butter 1 cup packed brown sugar 2 Tbls. LIGHT corn syrup 5 large eggs 1 1/2 cups half and half 1 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. Grand Marnier 1/4 tsp. salt 1 loaf Challah or any round bread Directions: Melt butter, corn syrup and brown sugar on top of stove stirring until smooth. Pour into 13x9x2 baking dish and coat bottom. cut bread into one inch slices and place on top of sugar mixture in baking pan. Mix eggs,1/2 and 1/2, vanilla, Grand Marnier, and salt together and pour over bread. Cover and refrigerate for AT LEAST 8 hours Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees, remove from refrigerator and bring to room temperature. Bake for 30-40 minutes.

croissant french toast bread pudding
add cinnamon and vanilla it's amazing!!! sometimes I've added chocolate too to be a bit more decadent!!!
