Rainbow Cookies....

do I store these in the fridge? I assume the chocolate will hold up better but will the cake part get ick?
I have them sliced and wax paper between each layer in air tight containers.

thanks. I was thinking that. I'll probably just put them in the garage where it's a bit cooler

Re: Rainbow Cookies....

They'll be fine at room temp or just below room temp (like in a basement or colder room). That's where I keep mine.

I didn't find them to be tricky - just time consuming!

I have found the best way to make them is to borrow some 9x13 pans from friends/family if you can so that you can bake the 3 layers back to back in the oven. If you don't do that you have to bake the first, wait for it to cool take it out wash the pan, bake the second follow the same steps and then do the 3rd.

Much easier with 3 pans Chat Icon

Re: Rainbow Cookies....

I freeze mine. I have a quarter sheet pan's worth in there right now. It helps me from eating them all too lol
