Pignoli Cookie Recipe....HELP
I found a recipe (on Food Network I think). Followed it exactly and my cookies spread out flat and crispy. I don't know what happened. I'm at high altitude in CO wonder if I need to add some flour even though it doesn't call for it?

Pignoli cookies do generally come out flat.......but they shouldn't be too crispy. I tend to bake mine about a minute or two LESS than what the recipe says, because they still continue to bake a little on the sheet even when you take them out.

These literally spread and all connected together. They were crisp. Not cookie like at all.

I found a recipe that worked! They still seem a tiny bit sticky but at least they didn't turn out flat like a wafer.

Great! Sticky is good - they're supposed to be a bit sticky and chewy. The raw dough should be VERY sticky, lol.
