Tough one... it's honestly 6 of one half dozen of the other for me since I love both WHEN DONE right and despise them equally when done poorly.

Very good point! But I am more apt to choose pancakes over French toast any day.

Love them both, but would normally choose pancakes
now, if the French toast is made with challah bread... YUMMY!!! That's a whole other story. Hands down French Toast

I am all about french toast..
Have a GREAT recipe..
in your egg mixture add a splash of heavy cream, a splash of OJ, a grating or two of orange zest, and 1/4 tsp of almond extract.
I use challah bread- when you put one side down in the pan, add sliced almonds to the side that is up.. when you flip they'll stick to the bread!

You know me and my pancake obsession all too well. 
Although to be honest, I love all breakfast foods. I could eat breakfast for breakfast, lunch, and dinner!!

French toast. Now that I'm older I appreciate the crispy-ness of the bread. I make this quite often as opposed to pancakes. As a kid I would have selected pancakes hands down.
