I 'think' i'm accepted to the study!!!
Last cycle my RE told me about an IVF study they're participating in and he thought i'd be an ideal candidate.. got my hopes up only to have them dashed when the study coordinator said i had some irregular cycles (not really) and possible tsh level issues (which never materialized, i've been normal since then).
So i spoke to my RE again and he spoke directly to the dr running the study and they both agreed that I can participate!
I just spoke to the nurse coordinator and answered a bunch of medical history questions, and so far i'm good!
Since i'm on cd20 of my current cycle, they said they'll probably use the next cycle to do a physical, have the consult and get me trained in all the meds and i'd start the actual IVF on the following cycle.
I'm not 100% in yet (until i get those meds, i feel like i could be excluded for any reason)
But i feel like i'm almost there!!
I'm really excited and hope that this study works out for us... If not, we'd have to pay OOP
Think good thoughts for us !!!!
