Does Anthem Blue Cross cover Clomid?
I never have had trouble getting pregnant, happened twice when i wasn't planning on it (ended in 2 m/c) but now that im trying of course it isn't happening. DD was planned and only took 2 months. I have been using the CBEFM and it shows I am ovulating but it's just not happening. I had a hard delivery with DD and then had most of my left ovary removed last december, my OB/GYN thinks i might need a little help and said if im not pg by February we should try Clomid, what is this and is it covered by insurance? If not, how much is it?

i did one cycle of clomid. it wasnt covered by my insurance at the time. it cost about $50.

Most insurance don't cover it from my experience as a pharmacist. You need to call specifically because it depends on what plan your employer group falls under.
