Jewish/Eastern European foodies and cooks..or fans of the deli
there is a lovely article in this months Saveur magazine about the history behind Jewish American deli's. I am not jewish and I found it touching. Imagining that a country like Romania that once had such a large jewish community now less than 10,000 is surreal. It really hits home how food can link us to our roots.
