WWYD? re: new cycle
So my FET was cancelled and now Dr. B. gave me Provera to get my period. I am debating if I want to take it now or just wait for my period to start on its own. I'm afraid that I will get AF and then when it's time to go for monitoring appointments the office will be closed for the holidays. Should I just take the time off and relax and enjoy the holidays or jump right back into another FET cycle?
Ughhh. I hate all of this indecisiveness.

Re: WWYD? re: new cycle
I would wait! Take some time off. Your body NEEDS the rest. I had a failed IVF cycle back in September (never made it to transfer) and I still haven't had a normal cycle. I used to ovulate on my own and now my system has shut down on me. It's all the high stims I was on and it seems that Lupron really supressed me. I was scheduled to start stimms around Thanskgiving but my body unfortunately wasn't cooperating....
But I really think that this is a blessing in disguise. Based on everything I've read online, the recommended waiting time between ivf cycles is 6 months and if you are over 35 it's 3 months.I've read, and I totally believe it, that your body doesn't respond the same when you do consecutive cycles, and I'm sure this is especially true in cases where high doses of meds are administered during cycling.

Re: WWYD? re: new cycle
you need to shed your lining. Take the provera and let your body get back to normal.
If you get AF and don't want to cycle for the holidays wait for the next cycle.
