OK, I'm dumbfounded....
So my mom and I took Ava to the supermarket before because she has been fussing all day and I thought I was going to commit myself if we didn't get out of the house, and as we're checking out, the cashier, who was probably 18, said to my mom, "Awww, your daughter is so cute!" I promptly responded, "Why yes, I AM!" And she looked at me like I was crazy. HELLO! My mom looks good for her age, but I'm pushing the cart with the baby, and am obviously closer to child-bearing age DUMBASS!

Yup, I get that too when I'm out with my mom she looks so young for her age and when she is holding my DD some people say oh your daughter is so beautiful, I'm like THANKS real loud Just so they know who the mommy is, my mom laughs!

My mom had Ryan out with her today (she had to sign my deliquent brother up for summer school) and she said that today was the best day of her life... Because everyone kept telling her how cute her baby was.... she was loving it soooo much-she didnt even correct them...

My MIL gets that too when we are out mainly b/c she hogs the stroller and has to push.  She too looks real good for her age.

Nobody has ever referred to my mom as his mother, but we often get the looks from people like "hmm...okay....which one's the parent...?"
