Mind if I ask why this would be so terrible? As a life long resident of this community I really never understand why people are so oppossed to growth and retail development here. Personally, I'd love a Walmart within walking distance to my house.

I live a block away from the golf course...I would prefer it be anything but a Walmart.
I am not opposed to things coming into these towns at all...we just don't need a Walmart....Target would be sooooo much better in my opinion

I WOULD LOVE a closer Wal Mart or Target. A super Wal Mart WOUD BE AWESOME!!!!
As for Roys..
I just past there and there was a line of cars coming out of the parking lot. I guess people where seeing if it was true. Also there was a lot of people inside doing things. So what ever it will be I think will happen quick, like wit the Friendlies that popped up overnight.
Sad day when you cant say, Yup I live right by the Roys anymore :( I have 4 more hours to come up with a way to brek the news to poor Kryssy! :(

I would prefer a Target as well, but a Walmart is probably a more realistic economic choice for this area...in fact you could argue that a Walmart is more of a need than a Target. Either way, I will be happy to see some more growth for the area.

Is that to the White castle or the Walmart?
I HATE White Castle so that would do me no good. I would love a Walmart but hope it's not because of the traffic it would cause.

I used to LOVE Roy Rogers before I stopped eating fastfood.
There are still a bunch at rest stops in jersey lol but they're super overpriced
