S'mores Cupcakes (with pics!)
I made the s'mores cupcakes from Annie's Eats after seeing other LIF'ers try this. They were delicious and a total hit with the kids at Thanksgiving!
The meringue frosting was done the night before, and it held up okay on Thanksgiving. But, I could tell it was starting to weep. Still yummy nevertheless!

 Amazing!!! What did you use to brown the frosting like that??
ETA: I know it calls for a kitchen torch, but I don't have one. I was wondering if that's what you used.

I bought this kitchen torch from amazon 
I'm glad yankinmanc warned me about using the torch, because DH and I set a few of the cupcake liners on fire by accident  The cupcakes browned pretty good though!

They look great! Good on ya! How did they taste? Did everyone love the surprise in the bottom?
I set quite a few of the paper liners on fire when I made them.
I love having a little kitchen torch, I think I paid about $10 for mine at Homegoods (the one here in the UK) and I use it every once in a while for things like Creme Brulee, stuff like that!

They were sooo good! They loved finding the graham cracker crust at the bottom. Creme brulee and french onion soup are next on my list. Do you have a good creme brulee recipe?
