Girls who have done acupuncture with IVF

Did you go before or after transfer? And did you continue it at all during your 2ww? If you did, did you get pregnant? TIA!!

I was going for a few weeks before and right up to the retrieval. I went the day before the transfer and immediately after the transfer. He had me come back one week after in the 2 ww just for stress relief. It was actually helpful with the stress. Good Luck!

ETA: I did 2 ivf cycles back to back. The 1st was a bfn and the second was a bfp. Saddly my bfp ended in a miscarriage. My baby stopped growing at 8.5 weeks and I didn't find out until 10 weeks.

i went the day before my ER and the day before my ET. i didnt go after the ET but i did go during the wait. it also helped me with OHSS/bloating relief (not for a substantial amount of time, but still some relief was better than none!!).

i feel the biggest change that i noticed was that my lining was the best it ever was during my IVF cycle. i had been going to acupuncture about once a week since june and did my IVF in october. the IVF cycle was the first cycle i had a noticeable difference. but i literally took NO MEDS AT ALL for lining, and my lining was better than ever for no reason, so i am going to say that it was due to acupuncture.
otherwise i find it to be very relaxing. did it directly help with implantation? who knows. but i def think it helped my lining which makes sense since it promotes better blood flow. i did get a BFP on my first IVF, but everything about the cycle went really smoothly, lots of eggs, great fert, great quality embies, great lining. we put back two and have 8 frosties. i got pregnant with 2 but only one became a baby, the other was an empty sac. i def think acupuncture had positive effects.

weeks leading up to my retrieval, I went twice a week. The day of my transfer, I went right before and right after the transfer. After that I went once a week for uterus support. I got my BFP.
