Dessert ideas for a baby shower??
My BF of 30 + years is having her 3rd baby - and her sister is throwing her a Dessert Sprinkle (she has two kids already - but her youngest is 7)
I said I would make a dessert for the sprinkle - any cute ideas? She's having a boy!!

I was at a bridal shower and they served little petit fours - they were small square pieces of cake beautifully decorated, kind of a spin off to a cupcake.
cupcakes are always crowd pleasers and lots of ways to be creative with them.
You could also do sugar cookies in baby themed shapes - check out www.bakeitpretty.com
I have received the homemade molded chocolate lollipops as favors in the past, but you could serve these too. They sell molds at Michaels and AC Moore in baby shapes.

Here's the dessert spread we had at my shower 2 weeks ago:
Chocolate fountain with dippers (pretzels, marshmallows, pound cake), pink rice krispie treats (you can just use blue food coloring instead to make them blue -- about 3-4 drops into the marshmallows as they're melting), rainbow cookies, strawberries and pineapple, and lemon bars.
There was also a delicious cake. 
My favors were also candy/dessert related.

Thanks for the ideas!!!!!
I really like the blue rice krispie idea!!!!! I also thought about dipping pretzel rods in white chocolate - and sprinkling them with light blue sugar sprinkles!!!
