Refrigerate HCG??? Refrigerate FHS?

Am I supposed to keep the HCG shot refrigerated?

What about the Bravelle? I read the package and it does say to either keep it refrigerated or at room temperature. Chat Icon Chat Icon

What do you think I should do?Chat Icon Chat Icon

I was never on that one. Try google Chat Icon

All I know is, Gonal-f and Ovidrel both get refrigerated.

Also, my first time around I took them out of the fridge and used them right away. This time (meaning, post-loss) I noticed in the instructions it says to leave it out for a few mins to let it get more to room temp- so I would just leave it out for 10 mins or so. I mean, I DID get pregnant the first time around without doing this, so I hiiiiiighly doubt it makes any difference! Just thought I'd throw that out there.. .read the instructions!

ETA: In case you were wondering, gonal is FSH.

Yea figured I'd be a good team player and did a google search for you. How frustrating, I see what you mean about the room temp OR refrigerated! Chat Icon How annoying that they can't be more clear!

Re: Refrigerate HCG??? Refrigerate FHS?

Honestly since it says you can do either, I'd just put it in the fridge and find out more info tomorrow. I'm sure the board will be more active during the day.

Also, did it come on an ice pack?

Yeah! I agree Chat Icon Thanks for the info Chat Icon
It didn't come with an ice pack.

The only one that came with the ice pack was the HCG.

The HCG and Bravelle came in separate bags but same delivery

if its ovidrel HCG it gets refrigerated, if its novarel you dont have to.

i think bravelle is the same as FSH, no? if so it PROBABLY needs refrigeration.

Thank you Flower Wife Chat Icon

Yes, it is Ovidrel and since it came with the ice pack I refrigerated. Chat Icon

Bravelle is follicle-stimulating hormone, but the package said either refrigerate or keep at room temperature Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

After much research last night Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon I decided to leave at room temperature.

Thank you once again Chat Icon Chat Icon
