Lasagna experts
Do you combine the ground beef with the sauce and cook it together or do you keep the sauce and meat seperate until you layer the lasagna?

I think my mom cooks the ground beef first in the pan, then combines it with the sauce. but she doesnt make her own sauce.
one of these days i'd like to try to make my own sauce...
