What to bring...
So we're going to my Mom's for Thanksgiving and I have asked her repeatedly what she needs or if she would like me to make anything and i always get an answer of don't bring anything, I'm taking care of all of it. But I want to bring something. When going to the other side of the fam, we always have to bring something and I don't want to start a cycle of just because my family always says not to bring anything, that we don't do it, yet with the others, we always have to bring something!!!
So when told not bring anything, what should I bring??

Re: What to bring...
Something you would want to eat.
Like dessert or appetizer type food. Something you won't be insulted if it's not put out on the table, though. Or, bring drinks since that's always useful.
I'm a big fan of bringing like an assortment of cookies from an Italian bakery or something since those are also easily put in ziploc bags and divided amongst guests when leaving and make delicious goody bags!
