Re: Anyone have a GREAT pie recipe?
I have a SUPER EASY recipe that happens to be delicious!
1 – oreo cookie crust 2 pkgs of instant chocolate pudding 2 cups cold milk (it’s better w/ whole milk) 1 tub of cool whip
Mix the 2 pkgs of pudding with the 2 cups of milk. Take ½ of that mixture and spread into bottom of pie crust. Mix ½ of the cool whip into the remaining pudding. Spread that mixture onto the pudding. Put in the refrigerator for a few hours. Then top w/ remaining cool whip and serve ?

Re: Anyone have a GREAT pie recipe?
Try this one... I've been making it for years and my DH's family freak out over it. People actually ask me to make them for their birthday....
Creamy Blueberry Pie
2 9-inch DEEP DISH pie crusts For filling: 6 cups blueberries (fresh or frozen, but if frozen completely defrost nd rinse first) 2 cups white sugar 2/3 cup flour 1/4 tsp salt 4 eggs 1 cup sour cream For topping: 1 cup flour 1 stick butter, soft 1 cup sugar
Combine the 2 cups of sugar, 2/3 cups of flour, and salt. Add eggs and sour cream. Put blueberries in the pie crusts and spoon sour cream mixture over. In another bowl, combine the 1 cup of flour and 1 cup sugar. Cut in butter until mixture is coarse. Sprinkle over pies. Bake at 350 for 1 hour.

Re: Anyone have a GREAT pie recipe?
And I posted this one on another thread... easy and delicious:
Pumpkin Pie
Ingredients 1 1/2 pints vanilla ice cream, softened 3 eggs 1 3/4 cups pumpkin puree 3/4 cup white sugar 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg 2 (9 inch) unbaked pie shells
Directions 1.Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Place ice cream near the warm oven to soften. 2.In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs. Stir in the pumpkin puree, sugar, salt, cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg. Mix in soft ice cream until smooth. Pour filling into two 9 inch pie shells. 3.Bake for 15 minutes in the preheated oven. Reduce temperature to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C), and bake an additional 30 to 40 minutes, or until filling is set.

This is a family staple with us....we have it at every single occasion to the point where it is almost a joke Matter of fact I am making one later on tonight.
