Another milestone reached-Got past the 70 pound mark!!!
At my meeting this week I lost 1.6 pounds for a total of 70.8 now!! Each 5 pound goal is taking longer to get to at this point, but I'm getting there. I would love to hit 75 pounds before Christmas and I do think I can do it. I just have to stay focused at all the parties in the next few weeks. And I'm still going strong with my exercise program which is definitely going to help me with all the tempting foods!!
I just wanted to share my good news and hopefully inspire some people that this is totally possible. I am not doing anything radical or crazy. I am not depriving myself of anything. I have learned a healthy lifestyle and it has done wonders for me. Every person has a chance at doing this. You just have to stick with it and don't beat yourself up over slips up. Last night I went to my friends house for dinner and I ate pasta with meat sauce, had wine and had a nice piece of apple pie with ice cream. I had no regrets about it and enjoyed every bite. One meal does not mean the day is lost. Enjoy your treats, just don't have them too often!
