Mine was completely painless, similar to a pap ( the most annoying part being the speculum ofcourse) ...Nothing at ALL like the HSG which for me was not fun at all....

Ditto. Also make sure to wear a pad after, the saline will leak out. I did not take my own advice and ended up standing in the bathroom holding my undies under the hand dryer.

ITA! Out of everything, it was the easiest by far. Quick and painless.

you ladies are so lucky, mine was painful, but, my doctor says my cervix is extremely sensitive b/c of all the surgeries I had as a result of cervical cancer, so I am the exception to the rule. I am happy to hear that it usually is painless
