Yes...I guess my house is considered a Colonial. We live in the main floor, and we have tenants upstairs and a studio in the garage.
However, the upst. tenants will be kicked out in August so we can renovate and take over.

We used to. We have a hi ranch. We had the upstairs, she had downstairs. I hated renting, so happy we don't anymore but it's nice to know you can if you ever need to.

Yes. We have a colonial and they live in our basement. It has worked out perfectly so far (knock on wood!!!)

At the time we were charging $1200 for a lg 1 bedroom apt with laundry rm, kitchen, 1 bathroom, lg living room, huge closets, private entrance, use of patio, and that included utilities.

Yes, we have a 2 family. It is a 3br and we charge 1300+ utilities.

We live in a one-level ranch. The apartment is in the basement. We charge $1000 which includes everything.

We have a Saltbox with a finished basement apartment with a lot of windows... 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, kitchen, LR we charge $1400 and includes utilities.
