So I get the english muffin and cheese part of it. What I don't get is how they get the egg the perfect size and thickness. Please explain b/c I want to make them at home!

You could probably use a pancake mold too and make funny shapes for the holidays!

Maybe you can cut the top/bottom off a tuna can and use that.
I can't cook an egg of the stove so I just microwave them for my DS - he doesn't seem to mind. I have small bowls the size of the muffin.

Re: Homemade egg mcmuffins
just spray your pan and mold, then crack the egg into the mold.... once it has set, remove the mold (and flip if desired)

Just made these. Yum!
Make sure you grease the rings well. I usually put some oil on a paper towel and use that to coat the rings. You need a flat pan like a griddle so the egg doesn't leak under. Grease or butter the pan and break the egg into the rings. I usually run a knife around the egg after a few minutes to make sure the ring comes off easily. Then you can flip them. Good luck!
