I guess I'm a Dr. B girl now too
May I join the club?
I must say, I am very impressed with Dr. B so far. All I did was fill out the "Contact Us" form on his website and received an email within 10 minutes.
I just got off the phone with him. As tough as it was to hear that the issue is probably with me, it is good to know that maybe I can fix it.
He told me to call the office tomorrow and get in for blood work on Thursday and then I will have the consult next week. I feel as if I'm meeting a celebrity- haha... I can't even remember what blood work he said to have. TSF? TS something.... an autoimmune work up I believe.
I am so scared thinking about what I may have to do. It is very overwhelming but eventually it will all be worth it.
Thank you again for everything. I guess I will be hanging out over here now

I literally said "I already have been diagnosed with a blood clotting issue and I have Crohn's so I know I have some autoimmune issues as well". He said "I need to see you." That was that.
It's upsetting to know that the problem lies with me. I'm just hoping I can fix it.
Based on tonight alone, I already know I made a good choice.

Don't focus on the problem being with you.. vs. not with you .. The fact is, the problem is there- and you're going to fix it!

dr. B is amazing and you are in great hands. i am so happy that you decided to see him. your OB saying that 2 m/cs isnt enough because you have a DC is absolute GARBAGE and it infuriates me!!!
dr. B will figure you out. that's what he does best!!

I knew I wasn't the only one that felt 2 early m/c wasn't acceptable. My doctor brushed it off as did my husband. I think he is scared to think that there might really be an issue. DH thinks everything is fine (just as my doctor said) because we already have a child. He wants to believe it is just bad luck 
My first m/c was at 5wks, which I lost naturally. I am now almost 7wks and waiting for tomorrows sono to rule out viability and then we will proceed with the D&C. Part of me is still praying for a miracle though.

Good luck. When you first start with a RE it is very overwhelming. But eventually it just becomes part of the routine. You'll know exactly what is going on with your body, which I always found comforting.

Not a DNC.... a DC... dear child. The dr's were brushing off any potential issues based on the fact that she has a child already....

Congratulations!!!
I remember when we left the consult with Dr B... I just felt sooo uplifted, like good things were about to come my way.
Good Luck!!
You made the right decision.... bask in that. Don't worry about thinking you are probably the cause, what's more important is that if there is an issue Dr. B will find it and most likely fix it. Better things are on the horizon....

I saw dr. B since I have autoimmune issues. I have Crohns too. Because of him I'm on regular medication and keeping crohns controlled.
I fought it for years.
