questions for dr. b girls

DH and i have decided to go see dr. braverman (thanks FlowerWife) Chat Icon however, given our most recent loss, we need some time "off" first. i was wondering how long it usually takes to get an appt with dr. b? we'd like to go in december or january--how far in advance should i call?

also, how long does the bloodwork and testing usually take? if we want to start TTC again in january should i use december to get all the testing out of the way or does it usually not take that long?

It did not take long for me to get an appt. I think like a week. But some people are longer. You can go for you consult and blood work whenevr and Dr. B will tell you to come in when you are ready to start the process.

i would def call and make the appointment within the next few weeks and use december for the testing that way you'll be ready to go when you are ready to cycle again.

it def doesnt take long to get an appointment with him but you will get your preferred date/time the earlier you call.

I agree - definitely try to get all your testing done in December, so you're ready to roll on your own schedule.

Good Luck!

I agree with everyone. My husband and I needed to make a consultation appointment and we were told that he was booked for the later appointments for a few weeks. I would call to get it all done with and then when you are ready to start then go back to see him. Good Luck!

thanks everybody Chat Icon i'm glad i asked! we were going to put it off for a little while but i guess it doesn't hurt to get the testing done so that when we are ready to TTC again we know where we stand. plus, we live in westchester so it's about a 40 min drive so we'll probably want early morning appts or late in the day appts. i'm going to give him a call this week Chat Icon
