Bakery near Malverne, Lynbrook
I am looking to order a birthday cake and and the party is at my sisters house in Malverne. She is new to the area and does not know of any bakeries except Melbourne bakery and they tend to be expensive. Anyone have any suggestions.
Thank you!

I have to second Reister's ...just thinking about it makes my mouth just water.
There's also a really good Italian Bakery (sorry can't remember the exact name) but it's off of Sunrise on Atlantic Avenue in Lynbrook... as you go down Atlantic Avenue it's right before the Kindergarden Center and Administration Building...I just recently moved over there and tasted the pastries and they were soooo good too!

I know I pass it EVERY day and I can't think of it....I always stop by each week so far and get DH little treats from there. Their bread is the best too.. nice and fresh and soft.

Growing up it used to be Shaeffer's. Not sure what it's called now!

Re: Bakery near Malverne, Lynbrook
I was going to suggest Amato's in Franklin Square on Franklin Ave. It's in the Meat Farms shopping center.
My other suggestion would've been Whistle Stop in Oceanside

Front Street Bakery in RVC.
The 7 layer cake is phenomenal - my mother will drive there from Sayville on occasion!
Malverne Bakery is really good as well, i think its on Hempstead Ave.
