threading

I get my eyebrows threaded and EVERY TIME I go, they ask me if i want my upper lip threaded. I feel kind of insulted. I am medium-fair skinned and, while I do have hair on my upper lip, its light and you cant see it unless you look close. Dosen't everyone have hair there? Do you thread other parts of your face? Does it affect your skin?

Re: threading

they do the same thing to me- i do the stache on my own. im a blonde so its probably only visible to me (or someone as close to my face as they are). I think about doing the stache but i dont want it to become a regular thing so i stick to grooming it myself

never was asked about my lip with threading, but I do have hair there (light)but I pluck a few and leave the rest. I refuse to go nuts over this stuff.

Re: threading

I find salons always go for the up sell.

Getting a manicure, do you want a pedicure?

Getting a pedicure, do you want a foot massage?

Getting a facial, do you want the special mask?

Getting your eyebrows done, do you want your lip done?

It's not personal, it's business.
