Thanksgiving dinner catered
Has anyone had the dinner catered? I usually do Thanksgiving, but for medical reasons, I may not be able to do the whole cooking thing. Has anyone picked up a dinner already made? If so, where? I hate to do this, but it may be the only way to have the holiday at my home. Thanks

Re: Thanksgiving dinner catered
We've catered it from Stop and Shop before and it was REALLY REALLY good.
I know Boston Market also does Thanksgiving catering.

I don't know where you are but Fireside in East Northport and I'm sure HUntington does it.
Pete's Deli in Farmingdale does it too.

So funny you said this. A few years ago I was in S&S to do some last minute Thanksgiving shopping and I saw this women get this big box that smelled terrific. I was like "What is that?" She tells me its her Thanksgiving Meal and that she does this every year and that it's always a big hit. I thought to myself wow, that's not a bad idea.

we have gotten it catered from Zorn's before - usually just the sides, not the turkey. the sides are awesome and I am sure the turkey is good too. I think if you want to get anything from there for Thanksgiving you have to call pretty far ahead so I would try calling now!

Re: Thanksgiving dinner catered
I'm actually having Thanksgiving dinner catered from Zorns this year as well. Last year we had it catered from Ivaronne Brothers but it wasn't a traditional dinner. All of the sides we chose were "weird" according to my dh. He was very unhappy with the entire meal so we're hoping this year it will be better. I wrote a post a few weeks ago and about 4 other ppl said Zorn's was awesome.
