Antibiotics & IF treatments?
My OBGYN office called in and said the culture I had done came back + for a UTI. Strange though because I have no pain, burning, etc. So I have to start antibiotics for 5 days, and AF is supposed to rear her ugly head this week.
Can I still start Clomid while on antibiotics?
Also, anyone else experience a Non-Symptomatic UTI? I never had one and heard that they were awful and really painful.

it could be in the beginning stages... or... you didnt get a "clean catch" of urine...ie there was bacteria near your vagina that wasnt wiped away.
if you really dont think you have a uti i would call the drs offic and ask if you can retest. gl!

The reason I went in for a culture test is because I noticed a 'funny' smell when I went #1, sorry tmi 
Thanks for your response, I will give a call and verify with my RE's office that it would not be a problem.

I would call and ask just in case but I doubt it would be a problem. Dr.B prescribed me doxycycline (andibiotic) and said to start it the same night as femara (similar to clomid)
 One should have nothing to do with the other

why did he prescribe it to you? i am curious. thanks
He said it would clear up any underlying infections in the reproductive tract. My DH and I both took it this cycle. I took it last time around when I got pregnant too. He doesn't prescribe it every cycle since it's an antibiotic and obviously not good or necessary to overly use it.
ETA: I honestly don't think it's super necessary but he just likes to cover all his bases! I don't think it's THE wonder drug in my protocol that I would use to credit a BFP!
