Halloween Support thread
Please help
I have lost 20 lbs in the past year and have kept most of it off, two pounds are very sutbborn about returning.
Anyway, I want Halloween candy so badly. Speciically I want peanut butter cups which I read are about the worst candy
I remind myself on a daily basis that (almost) nothing tastes as good as skinny feels, but this week is HARD.
Can we support each other here. I really don't want to start that slippery slope of eating candy!

Re: Halloween Support thread
Great idea! It is so hard to avoid. I'm allowing myself a piece here and there, otherwise, I would probably go nuts one day.
Good luck!

Re: Halloween Support thread
i just refused to open any bags. I am sure Sunday I will have some but my plan is for every piece of candy i must drink one whole glass of water. I think after three pieces i might be too full.

Re: Halloween Support thread
did you buy already?
I buy on the night of the 30th. I don't care what I get or how much it costs. It's better than having candy in the house.

Re: Halloween Support thread
That water idea is a good one!
I bought last week and and VERY proud that the bags are sealed and still in the tied up Target bag in the basement
Never again do I buy peanut butter cups! One year I bought cr@p that I won't eat like Nerds and the kids liked it and I wasn't tempted
Thank you for the support!!!

Re: Halloween Support thread
I gained 3 lbs last week thanks to Halloween candy And yes it was those damned peanut butter cups. I haven't even opened our candy yet. I went to visit a friend and she had buckets of candy everywhere for my kids. Needless to say I ate most of it

Re: Halloween Support thread
Ughhh reeses= my weakness.
I have ONE package (individual) in the fridge. I'm waiting until halloween to treat myself with the one package. I figure if I deprive myself now I'll only overindulge later on.
If I'm giving out candy or around candy I'll usually pop a piece of gum- you can't chew gum and candy at the same time!!
