Frozen Food 101..HELP
How do you store frozen prepared meals? ie - sauce, chicken, soup....
I don't freeze stuff b/c it seems to get freezer burn.

I store it in tupperware and deal with the freezer burn.
I've heard that if you cover it with plastic wrap first, then put the cover on it guards against freezer burn...
Don't know how true that is, I've never tried it.

plastic containers. If there is more than a bit of room on top, I'll lay some wax paper or plastic on top to act as an air barrier.

Get a foodsaver! It's an investment but if you want to freeze prepared meals it's soooo worth it!
