Choc. Chip Cookie Dough Brownies
I'm making them for a work event for tomorrow and at first I was going to make something Halloweenie. I was told it didn't have to be Halloween related so I decided to make my brownies because they are super easy and taste great. But now they tell me I need to come up with a creative, spooky name for them. 
Any ideas?! I seriously do not want to bake anything else, I went out and bought ALL the supplies yesterday!

I actually just got it off bakerella.com and it just uses mixes except for the chocolate ganache on top which is homemade. You just mix brownie mix like you normal would and chocolate chip cookie dough mix like you normally would then ball up the cookie dough and toss it in the pan with the brownie mix. Outrageously easy. The only difference is I use 2 boxes of brownie mix to one box of cookie dough mix otherwise it's waaaay too much cookie and not enough brownie for my taste. Here's the website, she includes the recipe for the ganache which is also outrageously easy to make! When I'm feeling ambitious I use my mom's brownie recipe from scratch but I don't have it with me since I'm at work.

Hmmm I like! Maybe I'll run to party city tonight and get something Halloweenie to stick on top? I should've just stuck with the damn pumpkin linzer tarts.

if you got milano cookies, could you stick them in the ganache and write RIP on them ?
btw, have you made that recipe before? it's from bakerella right? i've been meaning to try it forever!

maybe you could just stick one of those pumpkin candy corns on top and call it a day.. they look really good though!

That's a great idea! I love it!! Yupp, from bakerella, it's sooooooo easy to do and sooooooooo good! I made it the first time for my friend's birthday and so many people have requested that I make it again for them. Try it, it's dangerously good!
