It went well! Unfortunately, my camera's battery was dead so I don't have any pictures. We got there at 7am to set up and there were a ton of people there already setting up their parties. We grabbed all the tables and set everything up. People started arriving at 2 and still proceded to arrive well after the time that my Dh was supposted to get there. (Some people don't know how to read an invitation... ) My dh arrived at 3:15...he was supposted to get there at 2:45. As he pulled up with his cousin, one of his friends came walking past him and I thought the surprise was ruined but he played it off pretty well and was TOTALLY shocked when he walked over to us.
Everyone had a great time and there was PLENTY of food and alcohol. The men went over to a field and played baseball together. My dh told me that he was so surprised and that no one has ever thrown him a party like that before. He said he had the best time ever.
It was totally a stressful day for me but it was worth it.

Awww I am SO happy to hear that!!!!! Your such a great wife! I want to do the same thing for my DH for his 30th bday! ( well not outside since it will be winter )

Yup...my @ss was dragging that night...
I told my DH that I was going to yoga that morning, since I left at 6:45 to get there at 7. I saved myself $$150 dollars by not getting a reserved site and doing it myself.

Ahh good to know....did you have to fight people away from the tables? Did you have to stay and watch them the whole time?
DH should kiss your feet for doing all that!

No, thank god...I was ready to though...
My SIL and my friend helped me out..so there was someone there to watch.
It's funny..we didn't have to watch out for people, but the squirrels were a PITA!! They kept stealing the bread!!
My Dh kissed my @ss for a day or two and then life was back to normal.
