Thrombo testing?
I was wondering how much blood is actually drawn, is it enough that I should have someone go with me to drive me home? Sorry if that's a dumb question lol!

I was totally fine. I thought it might get to me a little, but it didn't. My DH looked it up and it's less than a pint. I weigh about 125.

Dr. Kofina's ordered mine and his nurses told me it would be about 20 vials and to fast from midnight before. I set up the b/w for a saturday around 9:30am at Labcorp. When I got to labcorp they told me it is closer to 40 vials of blood. 
I made sure to lay down while they took the blood (I normally don't have any problems, but wanted to be safe). She started taking the blood out of my left arm, after 10 or so vials, she stopped and switched arms, and then switched again.
It really wasn't all that bad. I sat up when she was done and waited a few minutes before getting up. After that I was fine the rest of the day. I had snacks in the car. But I did have my sister drive me just in case.

I had about 35 vials of blood taken. It was not really that bad. they had to stop 1/2 way through and go to the other arm but after wards, i was ok. I did ha DH drive me just i case but I was fine. I drank some juice before i got up and left.

the number of vials depends on the size vials that they are using. for me it was around 20 larger vials. depending on the lab it could be 30-40 smaller vials. i went to bioreference for mine. i thought it would be bad and that i would be dizzy and weird but it was absolutely fine. actually it was one of the better blood draws ive ever had!

I wanted to tell you ladies that I went to Quest today and the woman who took my blood was SO nice!!! She took a total of 36 vials, all from 1 spot and she said it really helped that I drank so much water (3 bottles lol). I'm happy that it's over and it wasn't really so bad after all!
