Updated-Girls who have done IUI at LIIVF
Who did your IUI's?
Last month it was an RN. Just wondering if that's the norm.
Update: 11/7 So I went back yesterday and the same nurse did my sono. She could not have been nicer or friendlier. She introduced herself to me, explained what she was doing and answered all my questions. I guess I just caught her on an off day last time. Wanted to update since I posted about a not so great experience. I feel so much better now!

Mine have all been by a dr. There has been a nurse there but the dr has done it.

Was it different nurses each time? I wasn't crazy about the nurse who did my IUI and I'm trying to decide if I should say something or not. If it's going to be her each time, then I will. I'm hoping it won't come to that because I hate to complain.

Gail did most of mine and Olga did a few. Gail was a bit more chit-chatty. Honestly, I think I just got to accustomed to going there so often----whether for blood and sono or an IUI, that I became almost oblivious to who was doing it. Even if the person doesn't do your next IUI (but of course we're going to  that you won't need another  ), you'll still see her around---for sonos or whatever. If she did something horrible, I'd say something. Otherwise, i'd probably just let it go for now. <If u ever have to do IVF, they assign a particualr nurse to you. If you ever have to get to that point, and you're still uncomfortable about this person, you should request a different nurse as you start the process.>

When I was a patient there the nurse always did it... I eventually switched practices and the Dr now does them. I had two positives both ways.
