Giunta's Meat Farms...

Is my new obsession, I think.

I bought a TON of fruits, veggies and herbs, plus chicken cutlets, cheese and a few other items and only spent about $40!!!! Plus my $20 at S&S for some things they didn't have, and I felt I got the most groceries for my money this week!

I am definitely going to continue going there, even though it is a little far from me.

I don't love their meats but they have a huge selection of fruits and veggies for really good prices! It's not really convenient to go there but I'll make the effort every few weeks.

I will have to give them a try. I keep getting the flyer in my weekly newspaper and I usually just toss it.

I love Giunta's! I go there every week and have barely stepped foot in a food store since I started going there.

I love their chicken cutlets b/c they cut them thin there and I don't even have to do anything and it doesn't cost extra!

I bought a big pack of chicken breast; they were like MONSTER chicken boobs and it took me an extra 15 minutes to butcher them properly...will do that for me there???

my big issue with them is that even though produce is dirty cheap, it goes bad so quickly

Yes they trim them for free, but IMO all locations are not alike

yes! they will cut the chicken however you want it - thick, thin, cubes, strips etc. they have the best prices on veggies and fruit.

Re: Giunta's Meat Farms...

we get 90% of our fruits and veggies there and save a ton of money. The amount of stuff we buy each week would easily cost double in the grocery store

Depending on where you are, Compare Foods may be a better bet than Meat Farms. I haven't been in the one in Farmingville in a few months, but I always found it better than the Meat Farms in Medford.

Funny you say that bc Compare is where I normally go for my produce/meat, but I still think I found some better prices on things at MF.
