Another Gifts Question
Do you buy your kids toys/presents/treats throughout the year or just on special occasions like birthdays or Christmas, etc..
I go back and forth. I have bought them special items just because they were behaving really well or I saw something I thought they might like or I took a trip and picked something up for them, etc.. I also feel really kind of guilty of spoiling them when I do that though.
Wondering what everyone else does..

Re: Another Gifts Question
During the year I'm mostly buying books or art supplies for them. Not really toys.

Re: Another Gifts Question
Now that they are older I give them an allowance and they get stuff during the year, but they get gifts for most holidays and still have gift cards from there b-day in auagust and a gc from xmas last year and they have about 50 bucks in cash each from there bday still.

Re: Another Gifts Question
I'll buy books but for toys, it's a very rare occasion outside of a birthday or holiday.

Re: Another Gifts Question
Same. Will buy books on a whim, but generally toys are limited to bdays and christmas. Unless they are given money by a relative (you know how grandpa likes to give $$ for no reason lol) they spend it on a toy or something they want throughout the year.
