I definitely ate the leftovers the next day and they were good. My apples were mostly disintegrated into the sauce so there was nothing to turn brown.

Re: Question for those who made apple and chicken in the crockpot
I had leftovers the next day and it was great!
One thing we did was to slice the apples with the apple corer/slicer so the pieces were bigger. We also didn't peel them and they didn't disintegrate.

Re: Question for those who made apple and chicken in the crockpot
I made this tonight actually!! I don't think the apples would get brown since the air isn't reaching them. They were covered by everything else once all of it was in the crockpot.
ETA I would add more apples and do a small onion if I make this again.
