Turkeys
Where can I get a fresh turkey to make for Thanksgiving?? I know it is a little far away but this is my first time making it and I am soooo nervous. Do I need to order it ahead of time?? Can I pick it up the Wednesday the day before? Any help is much appreciated!!!

I was just reading about this in my food network magazine. They said you can usually order it from a butcher and you should call at least 2 weeks in advance.

dont know where you're located but there's a turkey farm in Calverton...
