I was nervous after being hyperstimulated and suffering for days, but doc decided to go through with it. Because I am prone to OHSS he decided to transfer only 1, when we transferred it was grade 3BB can anyone shed some light on exactly what that means? Dhs morphology was vey poor adn he was very concerned....does anyone know how it affects the pregnancy?
this is a great site for embryo grading and other stuff regarding IVF. it helped me a lot.
did your lab do ICSI to fertilize your eggs?? if they did then morphology shouldn't matter as much since they would select the best swimmers and once the egg is fertilized the morphology shouldn't matter unless the sperm was damaged chromosomally (which could happen with perfect sperm as well).
from everything i have read the grade of th embie doesnt matter as far as the pregnancy goes - its just the lower grade embies don't have as high implantation / positive pregnancy rates. but if you get over the hump of implantation ive heard that subpar embies make perfect babies!!
