oven bags
has anyone cooked something in an oven bag before? DH's aunt suggested i cook a turkey in an oven bag but not sure how it would come out... anyone have experience w/ them?

MIL uses them... always on thenkgiving and raves about it. Even told me to this year since i am doing the cooking. She says it comes really most and the skin gets crispy and it cooks it faster!

I think Ziploc makes them... so maybe ob the freezer bags in the supermarket?

I've made the Purdue chickens that already come in the oven bags and they are great. Chicken always comes out juicy. Minimal cleanup too.
You can cook the chicken right from the freezer too, no defrosting.
If I was making a turkey I would definitely get an oven bag.
