have you ever asked for a recipe in a restaurant
Hubby and I went out to dinner last weekend and he fell in love with these stuffed veal chops. I thought of it after I got home that I could have asked for the recipe.
Has anyone done this? and did they give it to you?

I have asked for a recipe once, it was a salad dressing. They gave me what was it in basically, they were very nice too about it and said many people ask about it.

Yes I did once when we were on vacation in Bermuda. They gave me a business card with an e-mail address I could contact, and I did, and they sent it to me.
It was a recipe for cheesy potatoes, and I remember the first ingredient was "10 lbs. potatoes"

Not in a restaurant. But I emailed Cozymels asking if I could buy jars of their salsa anywhere and they emailed me back with the recipe. then we asked for the queso dip recipe and they emailed that to us as well.
