apple pie
Last week we went apple picking at a local farm. Today I made apple pie from scratch. I can't wait for dessert tonight to try it.
Yesterday I saw Cooks Illustrated on PBS and they were making this pesto and I had the ingredients on hand so I made it too. It was cherry tomatoes, fresh basil, toasted almond slivers, olive oil, salt and parmagaine cheese over spaghetti. OMG so yummy. I made it with lamb chops and I felt so gourmet.
Tonight I am making chicken marsala with mushroom risotto and green beans.
