PCOS ladies (or anyone who has had an ovarian cyst)
I have a cyst (47mm) in one of my ovaries. The doctor says it shouldn't affect the cycle and we're moving forward. Since taking the follistim it has grown over 13mm. I'm scared that it's going to get too large and my cycle will be cancelled. Does anyone have experience with this? Anyone have one during a cycle and have no issues?

Re: PCOS ladies (or anyone who has had an ovarian cyst)
I had a 7cm (70 mm) cysts on my right overy and had it removed recently. The game plan was to have the medicated IUI and if it did not take we would then remove it. Unfortunately the IUI was not successful so we scheduled surgery and had it removed. The cyst was too large and consumed my entire ovary, so I was not producing any follies/eggs out of the right ovary. We now have to wait until AF comes and decided wether we will take a break and try naturally or just go ahead with another medicated back-to-bak IUIs. Hopefully my right ovary will produce some follies/eggs and increase our chances of getting pregnant.
HTH and good luck. Hopefully you can move foward with your cycle.

Thanks for sharing! I just really hope this thing doesn't grow anymore over the next three days while I'm taking the Follistim. Good luck with your cycle also!

Re: PCOS ladies (or anyone who has had an ovarian cyst)
I had a 6 cm - 60 mm - cyst recently (I also have PCOS). No pain or complications from it. They put me on BC pills and it went away in 2 or 3 weeks. But they kept me on BC pills for 2 months to make sure it didn't come back.
Finally off the pills and ready to start trying again! Good luck with your cycle, and I hope your cyst shrinks as easily as mine did.
