I would just stay away for a little while. Since you cant tell her how to parent her child you can make the choice to be around it.

I'd say this is the type of friend that you have "adult" play dates with only- movies, girls nights, and couples get togethers only- leave the kids home.

Awwe, that stinks- you probably feel for her because her DH is never home and she's always alone. Parenting is such a difficult topic to approach, so I don't know if there is a sensitive way you can talk to her about it. Maybe when you dispcipline your son, you can address both children???
