South Beach Diet
I just finished phase 1. I actually cheated one night and had some drinks when I was out, but then went back to the diet. I lost 9 pounds. I was hoping to lose more..so I think I am going to go back on Phase 1 tomorrow for another 14 days and this time NO Alcohol!
Who's doing this diet currently? Any phase 1 recipes you wish to share? I am so tired of the recipes in the book.

2lbs per week is amazing!
I lost close to 90lbs (its been over 12 years now), and let me tell you, slow, sustained fat loss is the key to successful weight loss.
You might drop more at the beginning of SB due to water loss, but it will settle to about the same recommended .5 - 2lbs per week. I think both SB and WW are great programs, but I think that SB focues more on whole foods, which I think is better for overall health - of course you can easily incorporate that into WW.
