Question for those who have 5-10 lbs to lose

Ok, i admit, i'm not really heavy, i'd just like to lose 5 lbs at this point. I am 5 feet and weigh between 104-106. HOWEVER, i have quite the belly, plus its flabby. Also, have back fat.
In certain outfits, i have muffin top. So this morning i weighed in on the lower side and still have a pretty noticeable belly. I'm sure some of this has to do with having a baby, and genetics..But does anyone else have this problem? Any advice? It's kind of getting me down. Primarily because my goal weight is 100, and i don't think those extra few pounds are going to make my flabby belly go away.

What kind of exercise program do you do? What does your diet primarily consist of?

See, if I were you I'd focus less on losing 5lbs and more on just toning up. I bet even if you didnt lose any more weight you could tighten everything up, KWIM? I'm 5' also and find 110 is my sweet spot for weight but I think that's because whenever I've gotten down there it's included strength training.

Do you work out at all?

I'm 5'4'' and 123lbs with the same problem...I saw a trainer and he suggested not that I lose weight but do strength training...burn fat & increase muscle to loose the flab. I've seen fit 123lb 5'4'' women...they work out, a lot, and look amazing....MUCH different than the way I look at the same height and weight.

I run pretty often so I'm fit that way, but weights would really make a big difference I think.

So for you I'd say forget weightloss, focus on increasing muscle mass and buring fat...which means working out!

Yeah, i guess at this point that is the only thing left to do. I walk a lot, but that's about it. I don't have time to join a gym..maybe i can work out at home with weights. Ugh.
