weight gain from muscle (long)
Don't take this the wrong way... I don't really need to lose weight, i am at a healthy weight, watch what i eat, but enjoy cooking and eating, i just do it wisely. I really wanted to tone up cause even though i am small, i don't look the way i want. i hate the gym, so I started kickboxing at a karate school, intense 1 hour class, cardio, abs, strengthtraining, they say you can burn up to 900 cal in the class ( i will give myself 600 to be fair). i go atleast 3 times a week. trying to do treadmill on off days.
I gained alot weight after starting the class but my grandmother was in the hosptial and then passed so we were always eating crap running back and forth. now i lost a couple, but i am still higher than I should be... what the heck? my scale is showing that my body fat % has not really improved, but could this even be muscle weight.
any thoughts?

Honestly, I don't think its weight gain from muscle. It takes ALOT for a woman to gain weight due to muscle. You could just be eating more than you're burning off.
