Leggings questions
Okay so I LOVE the look of leggings / skinny jeans with riding boots - I really want to get a pair of riding boots this year BUT I dont know if my body was meant to carry them off
I am a size 6 at the moment but I have a little more junk in the thighs than I would like - I am TERRIFIED of trying on leggings or skinny jeans....
Any advice? give it to me straight...should I just give up on the whole riding boots / leggings thing and go back to my boot cut jeans and boots underneath.

Oh and if you think I should check them out any recos for leggings / skinny jeans that wont have me calling the paramedics to get me out of them -TIA

listen if your a size six i really wouldn't worry! But if your really worried about that area then wear tunics or longer sweaters.

Thanks I thought about that but I was in the gap yesterday and those skinny jeans scare me they say "slim through the thighs"...I guess I should just buckle up and try on a pair!

Im a size six too, with a big butt and upper legs!!
I will only wear leggings with a long shirt but it has to be a certain length for me for it to look right...not just long but it has to fall at just the right spot in my upper thigh and not be too long or too short lol
I have a pair of leggins from one of those middle booths at the broadway/ikea mall (they sell socks, tights, leggings, you cant miss it) that I like...the guy there said they are popular and I must try them, I was shocked I actually liked them b/c they are stretchy but not too stretchy and they actually slim my legs a bit.
I also like the capri style stretchy jeans from Guess...I can wear boots with those and you can't tell they are capris...I bought those like 2 weeks ago. I tend to like the stretchy material of all Guess jeans/pants...meaning the way they make my upper thighs look so try there!!

I was totally against leggings and skinny jeans for the longest time because I have a large butt for my size and thicker thighs. I have to say though, I was pleasantly surprised when I finally tried them...they're actually slimming because they elongate your legs. For leggings, I just wear them with a long sweater that falls mid-thigh or lower so that it covers any "problem areas" that I might be a little self conscious about.
For leggings try H&M. They're only like $15 and they fit really nicely. They're not so skin tight that you're peeling yourself out of them but they hold you in well.

I am a size 10 right now and I wear leggings with boots and long sweaters/shirts/dresses.
I have gotten them for as cheap as $5.00 at places like Wal-Mart and Target.
I also often just wear them to my yoga class as well.
I have a black pair with stirups that I got from Old Navy last season that I love.

Awww denisemarie - I dont mean to kill you you know its all relative to how you feel about yourself. I am a size 6 but my thighs are big - thats where my weight goes so while I can fit in my size 6 pants you might look a hell of a lot better in your size 14 pants - do you know what I mean?
Anyway I ordered two pairs from old navy as they got good reviews and I wont be out of pocket too much if they dont work out.
