One more ?, regarding Dr Brown Bottles....

Is there a difference between the wide neck bottles and the regular bottles??

I think the only difference is the size. I stuck with the wideneck so it would be easier to sterilize them in the Avent Sterilized I had.

I think it is personal preference. I use the wide neck bottles because Hayley switched from Platex nursers and the wide neck nipples were most like the platex ones.

I used both and the only difference I noticed was the size of the nipples that was it.

The wideneck ones are especially good if you have a BF baby who is also taking a bottle. For a FF baby, its just a matter of preference.

I was using the wide neck ones in the beginning because I was hoping DD would eventually latch onto me, and those bottles are supposed to be more like the breast. Once I realized she was not going to latch properly (mostly because she wouldn't open wide enough -- evidenced by the fact that she didn't take the wide neck bottle properly), we went to the regular bottles, and she is doing much better on them.
