So tired of going for follicle checks - UPDATED
I am really starting to lose hope. I have done 2 doses of clomid...50mg and then 100mg and still the biggest follicle I have is 11.2! I feel like I just keep going in so they can tell me the same thing and I can give my copay! I know that's not the case, but I am just venting. Very frustrating! I go back friday for another check and then it's on to 150mg!
So the RE called and told me not to take the addt'l clomid and to come back on saturday instead of friday...of course I didn't ask why. I just called and left a msg for someone to call me back to tell me why, but I am assuming that my bloodwork must have showed something, right? Maybe that my estrogen levels are higher than before and it looks like the clomid is working??

How many days have you been on clomid for this cycle? It may still be too early no?

took 50mg for 5 days....then took 100mg for 5 days...finished that dosage on friday....

It is very possible that you just need a higher dosage. OR you may just be a slow responder.
Injectibles may work really well for you if you decide that you want to be more aggressive. I would ask the Dr about it.  Has he discussed it yet?

some people dont respond to clomid at all. i never had a follie over 12 on it. if thats the case for you, talk to your doctor about moving on to injectables. they are generally more effective for people who dont respond to clomid.

She did mention it today. She said she wants to try the 150mg of clomid since I conceived DD on only a 50mg dosage and the 50mg made me ovulate last month. I guess I will try the 150 and then that will be all. I don't want to just keep taking it.

OMG, we are clomid buddies I took 50mg this cycle, took the last one on Sat. I just went in for first follow up. I have 2 follies, 14 and 11mm. I am not sure if it is good or not I think if you have 11mm, it is not bad
